Could someone tell me why one of America’s most talented young singers has to go to Korea and be on Korea’s version of American Idol. Why doesn’t Megan Lee have her own show in the United States? She’s better than Miley Cyrus and just as pretty as Selena Gomez. I understand Asian Americans in the United States have less than 5% of the population but talent like Megan Lee’s is just too great to lose factoring demographic and marketing scenarios alone. Talent like Megan Lee, you take the fucking risk, you bet on that kind of talent! I’m always reluctant to play race cards but I just don’t know how racism and asian stereotypes aren’t playing some part in keeping Megan Lee from American fame.
